A Time to Reflect for a new year

A time of reflection as we countdown to another year past

As we kiss 2018 goodbye,  let’s try to look back at the positive  moments and remember to thank God for what we have in our lives.  As I look back at everything I’ve accomplished this year, I can honestly say that I do not regret anything.

So here it is, an official checklist to things accomplished in my career as a journalist, writer.

  1. The first thing I can honestly say that I’m proud of is this here website.  As I look back, I have expanded my coverage of various community events in and around my community, meeting interesting people and publishing detail oriented information for you the viewers to read.  2018 has in its own way presented many opportunities and new adventures, including  Charlie Brown Day at Knott’s Berry Farm,  Ciclavia came back to the Valley and two exclusive fair stories in Ventura County and Indio, California.
  2. In addition, I nearly matched the number of movie critiques with 52 this year in Julie Moree’s News Scoop, including the must anticipated Infinity War as well and the the Antman sequel and the most notable Christian music movies, I Can Only Imagine as well as the third God’s Not Dead.
  3.  As far as the instant news site which began two years ago in January, where I report on breaking news stories as they happen, I’m still pursuing instant stories including the exclusive coverage of the KLove awards, with more to come in the coming months.

Overall, as I look back over the list, there have been some great adventures and opportunities in my role as a Journalist.  It is my hope for the new year to continue to inform and grow my audience for future news endeavors and ultimately to continue to be a News Magazine website for all your information.

Just wait to see what one sees what 2019 has in store here at Julie Moree’s News Watch.

2019, We’re ready for you!
