“Grey” Gets Darker

After a two year wait, the most famous love story written by author E.L James, is going darker in their second tale of billionaire Christian Grey, who attempts to woe Anastasia Steele one more time in Fifty Shades Darker.

The movie reunites Jamie Dornan as Mr. Grey as he especially captures the poise and power that ultimately no woman can resist, but Anastasia, played once again by Dakota Johnson, is skeptical as to his true intentions, especially when secrets come out from previous women he had seduced.  The question is can this man truly change and what is the ultimate power of love?

At 118 minutes, Fifty Shades Darker will have audiences glued to their seats as they watch true love can develop even in the mix of cruel dominatrix and sadist rituals.  It’s a movie that is currently playing in theaters for the Valentine’s Day weekend and is the ultimate romantic getaway for you and your loved one.  Just make sure to leave the kids at home.

Fifty shades is rated R for very explicit sexual conduct and adult behavior and is expected to be a good front-runner for the box office where The Lego Batman movie is giving it a run for it’s money.  Based on the Friday totals, it is in number one with 21.5 million domestically.

XXX Returns

Vin Diesel is back as Xander Cage in the latest installment of the Triple X trilogy, this time to recover “Pandora’s Box” and save the world.  The team consists of the same cast including Samuel L. Jackson as Gibbons and Ice Cube as Darius Stone and is a high energy action thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat with excitement as action after action is coming your way to bring you to the end in hopefully one piece.

It’s the typical XXX movie, where to coin a line, “You kick some ass, get the girl and try to look dope while you’re doing it.”  Overall, there’s not much to the movie, however if you like heart pounding action, triple X is the movie for you.

It came out in theaters Thursday January 20th and is playing at one near you.  It’s expected to bring in at least 20 million its opening weekend according to box office mojo as it has a little competition with M. Night Shyamalan’s Split.

“Grey” Dominates on Valentine’s Weekend

Love is in the air as Universal’s 50 Shades of Grey draws in crowds for its opening weekend.  It’s the story of Christian Grey, a billionaire bachelor with a dark secret who meets young innocent English Lit Major, Anastasia Steel and attempts to trap her in his sex domination games, but it is him that ends up trapped as domination slowly turns to love and leaves us wondering what will happen next.

Based on the Worldwide Bestseller Trilogy by British author E. L. James, it is a story for a more mature audience and view discretion is deeply advised.  The movie stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, who’s performances equally kept audiences on the edge of their seats with suspense.

The movie brought in 30- million opening day and was expected to be number one for the 4 day weekend.  It’s currently showing in a theater near you.
