In an attempt to help their friend cope with grieving, the group return to the same place that their friend’s sister went missing a year ago. Now they are stuck in a daily time loop where they must relive their deaths over and over. Now their new challenge, survive until dawn or join the dark.
Until Dawn mirrors a similar storyline as the 1993 film Groundhog day, but with a new horror filled twist. No death is the same as the previous one, which adds its own sense of fright as they wonder just how many chances, they truly have to get it right and survive until dawn.
The cast includes, Anora’s Ella Rubin, Annabelle’s Micheal Cimino, Hellraiser’s Odessa A’zion, Ji-young Yoo, and Alto Knight’s Belmont Cameli, all of whom have a since of comradery that will have audiences rooting for their survival all the way through.
All in all, at an hour 43 minute runtime, the psychological thriller will have you on the edge of your seats especially when you discover the true reason for the time loop. It’ll have you saying, “No way” as you begin to see the power to survive is truly in the hands of the survivors. The question is will they be strong enough to realize before it’s too late.
Until Dawn came out in theaters April 25th and is currently playing in a theater near you.
