“Warfare” REVIEW

It’s an exploration of war told through the memories of those who experienced it.

Warfare certainly captivates audiences as it shows firsthand what soldiers go through when dispatched to impossible missions. The film is set in 2006 in Iraq as a Navy Seals troop embarks on the territory with one mission get in and out safely. Ultimately there are casualties which we see the soldiers handle in a way that will have you gripping your seat in anticipation.

The film stars some familiar faces including Death of a Unicorn’s Will Poulter as well as Reservation Dog’s D’Pharoah Woon-A-Tai, Altoknight’s Cosmo Jarvis, and Gladiator 2’s Joseph Quinn.

All in all, at an hour-35-minute run time, Warfare gives audiences the real feel of war, unlike any other movie has done. Though not factually based, it’s a movie that is built on the memories and ultimately shows the brotherly comradery that soldiers develop when in the most dangerous situation. It also recognized the real soldiers to which the film was made from as it shows them at the end of the film
