47 Days With Jesus” tells the story of how a dysfunctional family on a Easter trip to their parent’s house that will lead them back to the road of redemption. It’s done by a father’s notebook which he put together in attempt to save his own marriage.

The film stars a few cast members from the hit TV series, The Chosen, including Yoshi Barrigas as the estranged son and father who struggles in work-life balance all the while not realizing his family is the true ones suffering. His wife (played by The Chosen’s Catherine Lidstone) is a true example of that suffering, though she does try to be patient, but it’s a sign of humanity at its core.

Additionally, Emilio Palome, as director, brought creative license to a biblical telling of the events leading up to the greatest day in humanity. He chose to tell the story of the struggling family as they are reading the biblical story and all at once we see the characters come to life in an awesome retelling that will have you moved to share the good news.
