CMA Country Christmas Review

Hosted by husband and wife, Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins, the CMA Country Christmas special premiered Monday Night, November 30, 2020 at 9 pm pst on ABC and is currently streaming via Hulu.

The 40-minute special featured performances from some of the most popular Country singers.  Getting the night started, Lady A performed “A Wonderful Christmastime” in a staged home setting.

Kelsey Ballerini got a little naughty with the ever-popular holiday tradition, “Santa Baby” and Tim McGraw graced us with an original “It Wasn’t His Child”.

Florida Georgia Line performed “Lit This Year” next on the Christmas Home stage followed by Gabby Barrett who brought “The First Noel”.

Darius Rucker performed “What Child Is This?” with Violinist Lindsay Sterling on the stage which was completely designed by Balsam Hill.

Co-Host Thomas Rhett performed “Christmas in The Country” and Dan and Shay stunned audiences with an all new Christmas song, “Christmas Isn’t Christmas”.

Little Big Town Brought “Christmastime is Here” and the night concluded with a special introduction of Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins, three young girls followed by Lady A, who closed the night with a Beach Boy Classic, “Little Saint Nick”.
