“Family Camp” Movie Review

The family friendly comedy starring the Skit Guys is bringing new meaning to church camp and reminding Christians that God does great things through comedy. The film is about two families, who meet at a yearly church camp and are changed for good when the fathers end of getting lost together in the woods.

In addition to the comical duo, Skit Guys Tommy Woodard and Eddie James, who without a doubt hold the film together with slick, clean comedy but also brings together actors including Leigh-Allyn Baker as Tommy’s wife, Gigi Orsillo as Eddie’s wife as well as camp counselor Robert Amaya and Mark Christopher Lawrence as Pastor Dave. All in all the cast did a phenomenal job as the chemistry was spot on and matched the comedic timing in a way that had the audience fully engaged and waiting for the next punch line in between the tears.

With comedy, faith and a little music, Family Camp is sure to bring families together to realize what is really important. Family Camp is the first feature film featuring the Skit Guys and one can say it’s sure not to be the last as it did hold true to the mission that the fun loving comedians hoped to accomplish with it. It is currently playing in limited theaters near you and is a must see for good clean faith based comedy.
