“Late Night With The Devil” REVIEW

When a late night talk show host decides to interview a series of people who are a little abnormal, strange and evil things begin to happen.

Done in true late night comedy style, Late Night with the Devil stars Dark Knight’s David Dastmalchian as Jack Delroy, who does a great job portraying some of the great talk show legends. One could instantly see a variation of David Letterman or Johnny Carson, which is comical when Delroy even references such talent. The movie as a whole really plays out as if it is based on real life talk shows from the 70’s .

Additionally, the film stars Saw’s Laura Gordon and Ingrid Torelli in her first full length theatrical debut. Both do an awesome job, especially Torelli who perfectly captures the feeling of what one who is demon possessed would be. For her first movie, she really shined in all her acting capabilities and it’ll truly be interesting to see how she grows in her acting endeavors.

All in all, at an hour and 33 minute runtime, Late Night With the Devil is truly a piece for one’s consideration. It’s different than any other horror film out now. It will provide horror in what is made out to be real life and have one really questioning the term demon possession. The film, though it’s not getting mainstream media coverage, it’s still a film to see. It’s currently playing in a theater near you.
