“Memory” REVIEW

When a mysterious man randomly follows a well structured woman home, one’s first thought is this is creepy? What happens though is somewhat unexpected as a romance begins to blossom. There’s only one problem; that man has a memory problem; one that both his family and hers are fearful of. Can love prevail or will memory falter and tear everyone a part?

At just about an hour 45 minute runtime, Memory stars 355‘s Jessica Chastain and The Manificent 7‘s Peter Sarsgaard in an epic love story worth remembering. All in all, it shows the power of love even despite all opposition.

Chastain in all her acting talent does a phenomenal job of caring that kind of emotion as revolutions are made involving both her life and that of the man that she cares about. Equally Sarsgaard does a good job especially portraying one with severe memory loss and all of what that entails with being in relationships with someone so deeply in love.

The film came out in theaters Dec 22 and has already taken one win for Mr Sarsgaard at the Venice Film Festival. It’ll be interesting to see just how many more awards it will be nominated for especially as the highly anticipated Oscar Nominated films are announced next month.
