“Bullet Train” REVIEW

Brad Pitt finds himself as one of five assassins on a one night mission aboard Japan’s bullet train and he certainly has a rather smooth way of handling the mission. Now it’s a fight to see just who will complete the mission especially when they realize they are all connected in one way or another.

Bullet Train is that summer action comedy that will have audiences racing to see just what is up with the local train. It’s definitely Brad Pitt at his more humorous side as it reunites Lost City’s Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum with Pitt in a slight reversal. This time Pitt is the main star as both Bullock and Tatum play supporting roles.

In addition, the film also starts Hulu’s “The PrincessJoey King as the sweet yet cunning female assassin that tricks everyone with her “naiveness” and comes out guns blazing at the end. King definitely used the same skills she had in The Princess to fully embrace the female assassin persona.

The biggest surprise casting choice was when Ryan Reynolds made the brief cameo at the end as Carver, which definitely well rounded the comedic element that the film carried throughout.

All in all, Bullet Train is an entertaining movie that will captivate audience with the witty humor and bold action sequences. It will have one on the edge of their seats as every scene is just as surprising and unexpected as the one to come.

Bullet Train came out in theaters August 5 and is currently playing in one near you. See it you won’t regret it.
