“Madame Web” REVIEW

Webs intertwine as one girl realizes she has more power than she thinks. All she has to do is “accept the responsibility and the power will come”.

It’s a slightly different take on the Spiderman Universe, https delves into what happens before Spiderman is born. Unlike the traditional climbing walls and punching people, it’s all about the brain and just what can be done when embracing the truth on a mission to save lives.

Madame Web stars 50 Shades Dakota Johnson after a slight 5 year break, she is back ready to show what she can do and she doesn’t disappoint. Both her and her teenage costars, Scream’s Sydney Sweeney, Dora’s Isabela Merced and Ghostbuster’s Celeste O’Conner, the chemistry is unique as an older sister figure, learning to put herself on hold to protect three innocent girl’s from Spiderman’s arch nemesis, Ezekiel Sims (Tahar Rahim).

Ultimately, Madame Web launches a whole new brand of superhero, while playing with familiar faces that Marvel fans will be intrigued by. It’ll for sure have one on the edge of their seats wondering just what will happen next as we learn more secrets behind the legendary spider.
