“In the Land of Saints and Sinners” REVIEW

When a man comes out of hiding, the bigger question is can he find redemption in the good or will his sins of the past further haunt his future?

Set in the gorgeous land of Ireland, “In the Land of Saints and Sinners‘ stars Retribution’s Liam Neeson in a role that he is clearly good at playing. That role is a man with a deep secret, who isn’t afraid to to what he can to hide it and stay alive. All in all he does a great job of capturing audiences from the first moment on. Specifically when acting with his counterparts including Night Swim‘s Kerry Condon, Dungeons and Dragons Seamus O’Hara, Desmond Eastwood and Conor MacNeill. All seem to capture the same drive as they use it to play off each other in every scene to the end.

At an hour 46 minute run time, “In the Land of Saints and Sinners” will have you fully engaged throughout. Though it is rated R, that’s only because of the violence and language, which comes from nearly any movie that Liam Neeson is starring in. The film came out in theaters March 28 and is currently playing in limited ones near you.
