“Last Night In SoHo” REVIEW

Thomasin McKenzie certainly has the death defying star down as she stars in her second horror film just month’s apart. McKensie, who starred as 16 year old Maddox in M. Night Shyamalan’s Old, has a new mystery to solve. It’s one that haunts her as she makes her new home in London as an aspiring fashion designer. The problem is there are secrets in the home she is living in that refuse to be silent as she soon learns just who is to blame for the murders.

At one hour 56 minutes, the horror mystery, Last Night in SoHo is sure to leave you one the edge of your seat. There are surprises around every corner that one might or might not see coming. McKenzie does an outstanding job using the visions that terrify to solve the crime that is decades in the making.

Similarly, the woman in the visions, Anya Taylor-Joy is also no stranger to the horror genre. From the portrayal in another M. Night Shyamalan film Split, she also hold her own as having a secret that she is willing to die for in order to keep. However the all important question is just what happened to this Sandie and how can Eloise make things right all in the name for justice for Sandie?

Last Night in SoHo came out in theaters October 29, just in time to end the Halloween season. It is currently playing in theaters near you. It is definitely worth seeing especially if one is a fan of the murder mystery genre. The music is also not so bad either as it pays particular homage to the classic 1960’s genre.
